THE PS² SYSTEM

A clear purpose.
Every time you practice.

TAPP means Train, Assess, Plan, Practice. It connects what happens at the range with what you work on between sessions.

Circular TAPP process: Train at the range, Assess results, Plan the next sessions, Practice dry fire, then repeat
Train → Assess → Plan → Practice. A continuous cycle.

01 / TRAIN

Train at the range.

Apply the mechanics and fundamentals in a structured live-fire session. Record target results and timing to establish a baseline. Supported Apple Watch sessions add movement context.

You leave with: A clear skill objective and a baseline you can review.

02 / ASSESS

Find the priority.

Review the recorded results and coaching feedback together. Look for recurring patterns and the primary and secondary constraints—the areas that may be limiting consistent performance. Check uncertain hit markers before relying on the assessment.

You leave with: A clear focus, supported by session evidence.

03 / PLAN

Choose practice with a purpose.

Use that focus to select or review recommended drills. Build a manageable session that addresses the priority while continuing to reinforce fundamentals.

You leave with: A practice plan tied to your performance.

04 / PRACTICE

Work on the priority, then return.

Complete the planned dry-fire practice and review supported rep and movement feedback. Return to a comparable live-fire session to see whether the improvement carries over.

You leave with: New evidence for the next Train → Assess → Plan → Practice cycle.

HOW THE CYCLE CONNECTS

A focus becomes a plan.
A plan becomes evidence.

For example, an assessment may flag presentation consistency as a training priority. You review the supporting results, select a relevant practice drill, and track your repetitions. At the next comparable range session, you review whether the pattern has changed.

One strong session is encouraging. Repeated, comparable results show whether progress is becoming consistent—and whether it is time to change the focus.
