What is PS² Range Coach?
PS² Range Coach is a performance measurement and training application from Emilex Systems, LLC. It brings together target analysis, shot timing, movement information, and structured training.
Can I download it yet?
You can request beta access. Emilex will follow up with availability, supported configurations, and next steps. Request Beta Access
Which devices does it support?
PS² Range Coach is designed for iPhone with Apple Watch integration. Contact Emilex for supported configurations.
What does PS² mean?
PS² stands for Practical Shooter Performance System. It is the training methodology behind PS² Range Coach, connecting measurement, analysis, and purposeful practice.
How can I report a problem during testing?
Email Emilex with your app version, device model, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. Include a screenshot if it helps, and leave out passwords and private account information.
Is pricing available?
Commercial pricing has not been announced. We will share plans and availability when they are ready.
Does Range Coach include Red Dot Zero?
Yes. Review a zero assessment using your selected optic, target, distance, and recorded group. The app includes a confirmation option for saving your zero.
What is TAPP?
Train, Assess, Plan, Practice: record a session, review your priorities, choose relevant drills, and use practice to prepare for the next session. Explore the full process.
Can I use different targets?
Search the library with a photo or browse supported designs. You can also teach a new target for future sessions. Confirm the match and dimensions before registering it.
Do I need a separate shot timer?
Use the built-in shot timer or connect a compatible Bluetooth shot timer. Contact Emilex to confirm support for your model.
What does Apple Watch add?
MotionTrace uses Apple Watch motion data to add movement context in supported sessions. Available analysis depends on your devices and session setup.
How is dry-fire practice personalized?
Assessment findings and training history guide drill recommendations around your current priorities and shooting fundamentals.
What if a hit marker looks wrong?
Review the target image and correct uncertain or misplaced markers before relying on the results. Detection depends on image detail, lighting, and target visibility.
